Mint & Main is an independent publisher of small-business finance tools and guides. We build free calculators and write plain-English explainers for the money decisions owners face every day: pricing, hiring, borrowing, and keeping the books straight.

Why no faces, no names

We publish without bylines or author photos on purpose. The tools and guides should stand on their own. What matters is whether the math checks out and the explanation makes sense, not who wrote it.

How the site stays free

The calculators are free to use with no account and no paywall. We earn money through affiliate links: if you buy a product we recommend, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That income is what keeps the tools free. It never changes what a calculator tells you, and we say so up front in our affiliate disclosure.

What we are not
